Personal Withings integration for Home Assistant, last updated 27 July 2026.
This policy covers a personal integration that reads my own Withings measurements into my private Home Assistant instance. It is a single-user application: I am the only user, and it is not offered to, sold to, or usable by anyone else.
With my own consent, to my own Withings account, under the
user.metrics scope only:
No activity, sleep, blood pressure or ECG data is requested, and no data is written back to the Withings account.
Into a PostgreSQL database running on hardware I own and operate at home, and from there into my own Home Assistant dashboards. Nothing is shared, sold or transmitted to any third party. There is no analytics, tracking or advertising, no other person has access, and the data is never used to train anything or to make decisions about anyone else.
Data is retained until I delete it. Access can be revoked at any time from the Withings account settings, at which point the stored access and refresh tokens stop working and no further data is fetched. On revocation I delete the stored tokens and can delete the collected history on request.
